Highlight/select text

Hi!

I'm having problems to highlight text.

Usually, you can position the cursor at the beginning of the text you want to highlight, and then just click and hold, dragging the cursor across the text and then release.

So the problem it's not actually with highlighting, but with the draggin itself. I can just highlight word by word, with a double click. I don't have the option or do more than one word all together.

Anyone know how to adjust this?

    Please contact Adobe support. THey can login to your system to inspect it.

    Maybe the prefeences need to be trashed or else. It's Friday and you can't reach them on weekends.

    I am having a similar issue in Illustrator. I cannot highlight/select ANY text. I can place the cursor and manually delete text one character at a time, but I cannot highlight/select more than one character. I've used Illustrator in the past and this was never a problem. I'm using a .AI resume template from Adobe Stock.

    Yours is a completely different issue.
