Horrible printer quality when printing to an Epson C3500 label printer

I am having a terrible time with print quality when trying to print labels from an Epson C3500 label printer. I have the resolution set at 720 but color and images are still blotchy and grainy. I am using the suggested glossy labels from the printer website. Epson says it's a program issue instead of a printer problem. Anyone else experiencing this?

Are you actually printing via their app? These specialized printers are terrible as standard system printers because the magic is all in the driver/ the dedicated app. You may be doing yourself a disservice and only be wasting your expensive sticker roll trying to print this directly from anywhere but the Epson app.

Please detail some information about your artwork.

Epson may be right if the axiom garbage in, garbage out, does happen.

It all may depend of the resolution of your non vector content.

In Illustrator (right?) artwork you try to print, it's vector or rasterized content.

If there are images which is the resolution? Are you enlarging any low resolution icon? Or using effects with Document raster effects settings at screen 72dpi or lower value?

In the Print window>Graphics, is Data format set to Binary?

In Advance>Overprint& Transparency Flattener >Preset is using High Resolution?
