How to convert a .EMF file from Illustrator to PowerPoint and then edit as a Drawing Object.

Hello, I'm on an Apple Mac running CC.
I'm trying to convert A .EMF FILE from Illustrator to Powerpoint then converting to a Drawing Object.

Is it possible to ungroup and then colour the icons? 

I HAVE TRIED IMPORTING THE .EMF BUT THE OPTION TO UNGROUP DOES NOT APPEAR AS A PREFERNCE?
