How to create a Giant Poster in Illustrator?

How to make a giant poster (for a building) on illustatror ? How to work with a giant format, do i have to divide it into several parts ?

Talk to the people who will be producing it. Most probably they will tell you to work in scale. But you need to talk to them anyway.
