Hi,

Let's say I'd like do draw concentric circles or polygons.

So I draw one - but if I try to draw another shape from the center, it moves the original polygon.

Is there a way to do this?

thank

Or turn on Smart Guides (which will show you the center when hovering over it) and Hide the Bounding box by unchecking it.

You can also (while an ellipse is selected and the Ellipse tool is active) click on the Hide Form Widgets button in the Control palette.

... and uncheck "Snap to Grid" (View)

Turn on smart guides. They show you the centers of objects on rollover even when those objects aren't selected.

Then after drawing one object, deselect it.
