How to draw shape of Australia?

Hi everyone,

I am wanting to draw the outline shape of Australia for a logo (and then fill with a gradient colour). I am unsure how to draw the shape (will be fine with the gradient colour, just need help with drawing the shape). Any suggestions or tips? Thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

    You could bring in an image and try to use the pen tool or pencil tool to trace over it or if you have an image you have the rights to, try image trace.

    All the maps of all continents already exists in vector format. And in many cases it's free. So to find a free vector map.

    But you have to mention the author and respect them.
