Ideal application for Venn diagram?

I need to make a simple venn diagram for a college assignment, what application would be best for this?

You could use Photoshop. I used 3 ellipse shapes filled with blue, pink and green. Each shape layer is set to 50% opacity and normal blend mode. It goes without saying, you could add text with the Type tool but I didn't.

I think Illustrator is best.

You can make circles and divide these using pathfinder.
