Hi All,
I have a student who has no shape or line tools within his toolbar in Illustrator CS6. It's like they disappeared but he stated that he hasn't seen them there yet. I looked online and everyone says to find the remainder of the tools by clicking the 3 dots at the bottom of the toolbar. Unfortunately, that option is not there. We have gone to be sure the toolbar is on essentials and reset the essentials. I have also reset the preferences by holding down Ctrl, Alt, and Shift when Illustrator begins. Does anyone have any advice?

The 3 dots were introduced in the CC version of Illustrator, so he wouldn't be able to find it in CS6. Were the tools ever there?

Show please a screenshot. CS6 was quite long ago, so now it's a bit difficult to remember that Tools panel structure. And yes, CS6 did not have "..." button, panel was not customizing.

I am struggling with the same problem and I can't seem to find a solution. I am working with a newer version of Ai so that does not seem to be the problem. Also tried to reset the essentials.
