Hello,

I am currently using Illustrator CS6 in macOS 10.13.2 and I need to write Bangla with Noto Sans Benali UI font. In order to do that I need to turn on indic language input option from Preference > Type. But it is not available in my illustrator. Could someone please help me with that? Here is a screenshot:

CS6 did not support it yet. You could buy a separate version for that in that time, was also quit expensive if I recall.

Best you can do now is to invest in CC.

I think you need the CC version for this option.

So your question is not even about the Indic options? Asking because that is the subject of this thread.

You need to install Illustrator in the language you want to use: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/change-install-language.html

You might want to uninstall the French version first.
