Logo is Blurry When Exported

Hi there,

I am having trouble exporting my logo to where it appears crisp. I need it in a png format. It does have text that appears to be blurry even after I select optimize type setting. My file size is 400px x 400px. Any idea how I can make it sharp? I do not want to save as a SVG as it will go on the web eventually.

Thank you!

Hi

Concur with Monika. I upload SVG logos on Wordpress sites. You may need a PHP snippet (plugin) to help and some CSS rulesets to control the size.

But the web is what SVG has been made for in the first place.

If your text is small and your image size is only 400px, the text will be blurry because it’s made of pixels. Open the exported png in Photoshop and view it at actual pixel size. This will tell you what it will look like when it goes on a website. If it’s going to be small, it might be okay.

Sharing the logo will help us give you better advice.

Is this a logo originally created in Illustrator as vector art? If so when you export it what resolution are you choosing? If you are choosing 72 ppi and then enlarging it at all then it will definitely not look sharp. You will have a better chance using 300 ppi. But remember that a png is a raster file and will never look as sharp as the original vector.
