Make one file from several Illustrator files

I have several Illustrator files in A4 format. I would like to make a file out of it, in which all drawings are in one file. How do I do that?

Manually by copy and paste.

If you want to keep your layers, turn on "Paste Remembers Layers in the Layers panel.

Create a new A4 document and if you know the number of files you want to combine, make as many number of Artboards (but you can add or delete those later).

Double click the first artboard in the Artboard panel to make it fit in window.

Open your first document, select all on the artboard and copy.

Go to your new document and choose Paste.

Double click your second artboard, open your

Repeat as many times as needed.

Be careful, look out for hidden, locked, objects and layers.
