need help saving a file as png

hi i got this homework and i dont know how to do this because my professor Ai is not the latest and mine is.... help please

Type Poster Critique! Insert Image (.png) of your poster design (Make .png in Illustrator; Menu > File > Save for Web > PNG-24 > 40%)

I am not sure what this 40% means

actually i tried it but it makes it blurry

also i tried save for web under export because the new Ai CC doesnt have the option menu > File > Save for Web > PNG-24 ......🤔 🤔

Yes, unfortunately, scaling will give you less pixels and will decrease the quality.

PDF would be the best solution...

i cant my professor wants this:
