Hi, I hope you can help as this will save so much time

I am trying to batch package a number of different illustrator files.

I need each file to have its own folder and inside that folder a folder with links fonts etc (like you would get by packaging a single file).

Happy for a script or even a piece of paid software.

Thank you in advance.

You can do this with an industry favorite, Art Files 2 – Code Line .  You will have to check one .ai file at a time, and click collect for each folder though.

One of the main reasons people love art files is it gathers multiple files at once and only one copy of the image keeping transfer sizes small. This is kind of the opposite of what you want to do, but with the checkmark method that is as close as I can think of without scripting

Most annoying thing is you will need to name each folder, but a trick is to copy from here and paste.

They have a free trial so you have nothing to lose. The product is only for Mac though, and not sure what OS you are using.
