Pen tool icon is black

Hello

Is it correct for the Pen tool icon to be black in Illustrator cc 2018? I know it sounds bonkers but it is distracting me and Id like the old Pen icon back, dose anyone know how to change it please?

It has been like that since CC 2017.

But the Pen tool still works fine and I am afraid that you will have to get used to it's appearance.

Would be very helfpul to see exactly what you are seeing. Should look like this selected with default setup.

If you are seeing something different would help to know what OS you are on, and if you have installed anything that modifies the system or Illustrator.

Might also be your brightness setting to dark
