Hey everyone, I'm working on kerning some projects. Whenever I use my arrow keys to move through the text box content, my view wont follow - the cursor just goes off screen. I feel very strongly that while "scrolling" through text box content using the arrow keys, the view has always tracked along with the cursor's position. Has this always been an issue? Is there a way to fix this?

Please help!

To amend - this action [scrolling the viewing window along with cursor position] is an active feature in InDesign - just tried it to confirm.

But whhhhyyy can't this be the case for Illustrator?
