Personally, I use a Wacom Cintiq Companion 2 and MobileStudio Pro.

What I like about these is that I can draw directly on the screen!

Also, I do not have to worry... if I decide to experiment with 3D software or animation software or film editing, these two devices can handle it.

What I always tell people is think beyond what you need the computer for now.  The reason, is 6 months to a year you might want to experiment on a new type of project and then might need more power or more precision.  So this is why I went with these two Wacom devices.

Regardless what you buy... just think about what you might want to do in the future.

Hi there,

In addition to the suggestions shared above, the required RAM for Illustrator and Photoshop is 16 GB and 32 GB is recommended for faster rendering.

PS: Just in case, if you have any older versions (CS application) installed on your system, please check out the following help articles for the system requirements. They might not be compatible with the latest Operating Systems.

Adobe Illustrator can run, but do you know if you can expand the internal RAM and HD if need be?  The graphics card should also be loaded with plenty of VRAM.  Look at the requirements for both Photoshop and Illustrator.  I am not sure about those brands, but if it were me, I'd be looking at HP ( PC ) or MacBook Pro.
