How to see Illustrator window in 100% view on external monitor when projected from Laptop screen

Hello, I'm trying to project my laptop onto a Ben Q 32in monitor and 100% view on AI no longer means 100%, I can't remember how to twiddle the resolution to get 100% to mean 100%. My AI docs are teeny tiny.

Can anyone help? Thank you

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out. It is expected behavior when you project the Illustrator window from a lower-resolution screen to a higher resolution screen. In addition to the suggestion shared by @Monika Gause, you may use the ctrl + 0/ cmd + 0 (Zero Numerical) shortcut to fit your artboard on screen quickly. If this doesn't help, then I would request to share a few more details like:

  • OS and version of Illustrtaor
  • Screen resolution of Monitor and Laptop
  • Screenshots or a small video demonstrating the issue would be really helpful.
  • Screenshot of Display settings for both laptop and external monitor

We will be looking forward to your response.

Thanks & Regards,

Not sure if you are referring to the "Display Print size as 100%" in the Preferences > General
