Does anyone know if it's possible to set Artboard Rulers as the default for new documents, rather than Global Rulers?

Thanks

Yes, change the rulers to Artboard Rulers and save the document in the New Document Profiles folder and use that preset for new documents.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. I found a helpful article on rulers, and as per the article, Artboard rulers appear by default, so the Change to Global Rulers option appears in the Rulers sub-menu. To toggle between artboard rulers and global rulers, choose View > Rulers > Change to Global Rulers. For more information, you can refer to this help article:

Rishabh, where does it say:

as per the article, Artboard rulers appear by default,

The default in all presets is Global and you need to create your own to change it to Artboard Rulers

Hi Ton,

The article does state that Artboard rulers appear by default, in the first bullet point, directly after the first screenshot. However, as you have stated the default is Global, so I think the article must be incorrect.

Thanks for your earlier reply. I'll use your suggested approach. It feels like a bit of a work-around, but it'll do what I need anyway.

Many thanks.
