Shearing text without distorting text box?

While skewing text, the text box also gets skewed when I use the shear command. How can I skew the text at my desired angle without distorting the text box at all? I want to keep the text box rectangular.   I am using Illustrator CC 2018 . And I want to keep the text all editable, not convert them into outlines at all.

The text box stays rectangular whenI apply shear to point typy.

If your text is area type, convert it to point type.
