Two illustrator files with one color looking different on both

Hello,

Print is pretty new to me as I am still trying to figure out color books etc, I recently worked on a project where I used a set of Pantone colors that I got from the brand. When I use the same colors on a different file it looks different. As far as I recall I have the same color profile and CMYK mode, can an expert help me figure this out? I've attached both the files in the link.

I basically want the result of the first file (1.ai) and what settings were used it will be really helpful

Thank you in advance!

There are a couple of differences between the files.

File 1.ai does not have a profile (untagged CMYK) and all the spot colors have a CMYK definition.

File 2.ai has a profile (US Web coated) and the Pantone colors have a Lab definition, which allows the spot to be better previewed than the one which gives a CMYK preview.

If you like the color of the first file, find another Pantone color that matches that color.

You may want to assign a color profile to your first file (Edit > Assign Profile...)

And don't forget to check your Edit > Color Settings... and make sure that they have the correct settings for your region.
