Unable to change number of vertices using arrow keys in Polygon tool on Illustrator 24.0 on macOS

illustrator初心者です。

間違えてget startedで投稿していたので、こちらに投稿し直します。

 

illustratorで、多角形ツールや星型ツールを使用時、ドラック中に矢印キーの上下を押しても、頂点の数が増減しません。

また、長方形グリッドツールでも同様にマス目の数が変化しません。

 

そして、スペースキーで手のひらツールにすることもできません。

 

ネットで調べてみて、クロームのブラウザを終了させてみても直りません。

環境設定ファイルを初期化してみても直りません。

 

macos使用、一月前ほどからillsutorator 2019を始めたのですが、最初から上記の問題がありました。また、2020に更新された今でも解決していません。

どのような原因が考えられますでしょうか。

In illustrator, when using a polygon tool or a star tool, the number of vertices does not increase or decrease even if you press the up and down arrow keys while dragging.

The number of grids does not change with the rectangular grid tool.

 

And you can't use the space key as a hand tool.

 

You can't fix it by checking the internet and closing the Chrome browser.

Even if you try to initialize the environment setting file, it will not be fixed.

 

Using macos, I started illsutorator 2019 about a month ago, but there was the above problem from the beginning. In addition, it has not been resolved even after being updated to 2020.

What are the possible causes?

It was caused by Webroot secure keyboard.

たしかに自身で行った投稿ぐらいは削除できるようにしてほしいものですね。
事後の詳しい解説ありがとうございます。このように報告していただくと後から同様の不具合で調べようとした方の助けになります。
翻訳機能に関しては下の翻訳メニューを操作しなけれは入力した際の言語が維持されます。また、後から間違ったボードに投稿してしまった事に気がついた場合、その投稿に移動の希望を返信として書き込んでください。そうするとモデレータが適当な場所へ移動処理を行います。
なにはともあれ、正常に動くようになって良かったですね。

やはり直接的な投稿削除の機能はないんですね。

今後は教えて頂いた手段で対応するようにいたします。

まず、コミュニティの使い方について、タイトルと本文の言語は統一してください。システムはタイトルの言語を確認して翻訳を行います。ですからタイトルと本文の言語が異なると正常に翻訳出来ません。また、同一の質問内容について複数の投稿を行うことは禁止事項となっていますのでご注意ください。しかしながら、コミュニティ上にはそれら利用方法に関する情報が見当たりませんので、Adobe社はそういった点を早急に改善してほしいと思います。
ご質問については、先のお二方の手順をご確認ください。いずれも設定ファイル関連のトラブルシューティングです。また、Katayanagi51さんの言うように一つ前のバージョンを利用するという方法も考えられます。10.15の場合は…

    また、いくつかのご指摘に関しましても感謝いたします。

     

    タイトルと本文の言語違いにつきましては、

    当方では行ったものではなく、自動に翻訳されたものでした。

    最初、日本語タイトルで本文だけ英語に翻訳されていたので、私も戸惑いました。

    ここでは、英文タイトルで本文が両言語で表記されているようです。

    こちら、当方で設定などできるものなのでしょうか。

     

    同一の質問内容の重複投稿は、投稿後に使用方法に関して調べていた際に気づきました。

    分かりづらかったとはいえ、しっかりと確認する前に投稿しましたこと、

    皆様に申し訳なく思っております。

    一度された投稿は削除できないものなのでしょうか。

    こちらも自身では調べきれず、ご教示頂けますと幸いです。

     

    投稿をした問題に関してですが、Katayanagi51様への返信にも書かせて頂きましたように、

    どうやらWebrootのsecureキーボードという機能が原因だったようです。

    問題解決おめでとうございます (^^)

     

    以前から、Adobeスタッフかモデレータによってタイトルを勝手に英語に書き換えられた日本語の投稿を見て、とても不愉快に思っていましたが、本文まで書き換えられるとは…。あり得ない所業ですねぇ。
    スレッドがロックされていなければ、ご自身の書き込みはいつでも編集できますので、例えば「勝手に書き換えられた文章は削除しました（投稿者より）」のように一文添えて書き直しや削除を行って構わないと思います。

      Catalinaでしょうか。Mojave以前のOSでしたらバグの少ない2019をメインに使ったほうがよいように思います。２つのバージョンをインストールしていても大丈夫です。

      本題のほうですが、セーフブートで再現しますか？

        ご返事ありがとうございます。

        教えて頂いようにセーフブートで起動しましたら、問題なく使用できました。

        考えられる要因はセキュリティソフトくらいなので試してみましたら、

        Webrootのsecureキーボードという機能が原因だったようです。

        ここ一ヶ月の悩みが解決できました。

        Sorry to hear about the trouble you are facing with Illustrator. I would request if you can share a few more details like:

         

        1. Are you able to change the number of Vertices in a Polygon or in Rectangular Grid, by double-clicking after selecting the tool?
        2. Is it happening with a specific file or with any file?
        3. You can also try to reset the preferences for Illustrator by following the below steps:
        • Close Illustrator.
        • Click on the Finder icon on the dock, choose Go on the top> Go To Folder.
        • In the Go To Folder dialog box, type "~/Library". Click Go.
        • Open the Preferences Folder > rename the Illustrator  24 Settings folder to Illustrator  24 Settings folder.old
        • Under Preferences, Open Adobe folder and rename Adobe Illustrator folder to Adobe Illustrator.old
        • Go back to library->open caches->rename  com.adobe.illustrator to com.adobe.illustrator.old
        • Go back to library->open application support-> open adobe->rename the Illustrator  24 folder to Illustrator  24 folder.old
