Hi,

I'm trying to color map w/Adobe Illustrator cc 2017 in vector mode w/an Epilog Legend 36Ext for a single job in which I would like to

cut and mark a single piece of material.

Thx

You might want to explain this in more detail.

It would also certainly help to know how your artwork looks like.

Hi, this is a simple straight line vector cut on a piece of foam insulated cardboard w/ a perpendicular scored line (for the fold). I already have the correct power settings for both, but currently have to do the scored line first, then go back and change the power settings for the vector cut. I would like to be able to do both in a single job. Hope that explains it.

Thx

It would help if you'd explain where it's going wrong for you.

The instruction manual for that machine puts it in pretty simple terms. There are 6 color presets built in. Assign one of those colors to the path(s) you want followed for cutting/engraving, then for that color, use the Color Map dashboard to enter the desired Speed, Power, Frequency, and Air Assist settings, set Raster to No, and Vector to Yes. Load the material and print.

Hi, agreed the directions in the manual are simple (even though it's for CorelDraw). The problem I'm having is even w/the 2 different power, speed, & frequency settings I've input, it still vector cuts straight thru.

Thx
