Activation support for Indesign CS5

I´m the secretary in a non-profit association. We have since 2010 been using Indesign CS5 for making a christian gratis magazine. We bought it as a compact disc. We have been using the application on two computers. Recently one of us, myself, bought a new Lap Top. Before I decided to buy the Lap Top, I had two Lap Tops for trial. In both those Lap Tops I installed our CS5 and also in the one which I finally bought.

Unfortunately I didn´t inactivate the CS5 in both of those Lap Tops I had for trial. That´s why we can´t activate our CS5 in our new Lap Top. When I print the serial number the application answers that ”this serial number has already been activated on two computers”.

The mistake we did was that we forgot to inactivate the application in both of the Lap Tops I had for trial. The applications were uninstalled but not inactivated on both of the computers. I went to the  compter store and together with the salesperson we could instal – inactivate and uninstall the CS5 from one of the two Lap Tops which they still had in their storage. But the second Lap Top had been sold to a customer so it was not possible to get it and inactivate our CS5.

Grateful for a solution

If you have an Adobe ID and the software is registered with it you can log into your adobe account and you will see it listed under "Products" in the "Plans and Payments" menu. You should be able to cancel the old activation there.

I did this myself about a week ago (CS5.5).

Unfortunately, there is none. The chances that Adobe will be of any help are slim and none on 15 year old software. And nobody here is going to be able to help either.
