Hi,
I have built several chapter documents as facing pages and added them to the book palette in Indesign. I need to delete a page from one of the beginning documents. Is it possible to have the following documents auto-reflow to the appropriate side of the page layout when removing this page? I want to avoid having to adjust each document manually. Thanks for any info you might share.

The key to having different "chapters" in one ID document is to create a "Chapter Head" (or Section Head, or whatever) and assign it "Keep" — and "break" — options in the Keep Options panel:

I'm not sure I follow what you want to do here, but the only way to make content flow by right or left page is to use Keep settings for headings that force that flow position. If you have ordinary text on a verso (left) page and delete that page in the layout, the content may well flow to either a verso or recto (right) page unless a head or other separator is tagged to keep it on a selected side.
Hazarding a guess, it sounds as if you need to use chapter or section headings for each document, so that they start on a preferred (probably right/recto) page regardless of how you reflow the contents.

Hmmmm….I have not used the chapter or section headings feature. Thank you. I will investigate it!

The key setting is at the bottom: set your chapter heading to either start "On Next Page" or, likely "Next Odd-Numbered Page." There are other settings as well that can be useful in controlling text flow.
