Hello,

I am working with indesign 2021, latest version on a mac (Mojave). I am using latest version of suitcase fusion.

I have a layout that uses this font:

https://fonts.adobe.com/fonts/poppins

The font keeps autodeactivating every few minutes none stop, and i do know how to fix/troubeshoot this.

I keep having to force acticate from suitcase every 2-5 minutes.

The font shows activate in suitecase:

it however is in brackets in indesign:

And i dont' have font erros on it at this time ( i have thad to go into this dialog  few minutes after force activating to replace since it wont read the font acticated):

Do package and open your new .indd for package folder.

Thank you George, just did that. issue continued within minutes of opening/working from new packaged files. It just keeps auto-deactivating the font.

Hi Jonathan,

look at the symbols in your second screenshot where Poppins is in brackets.

It seems there is a mix of cloud installed styles and system installed font files for some styles. Or font files that are stored with a Document fonts folder or the Fonts folder in the InDesign application folder. That mix could be causing your issues.

In "Find/Replace Font" check where exactly the listed fonts files are installed with "More Info".

I would uninstall all styles of Poppins from the system and only use the ones that come with Adobe Fonts.

Or quite the other way. Install your bought styles of Poppins in the system and do not use any Adobe Fonts for that purpose.

Regards,
Uwe Laubender

Strong opinion! 🤬 All that cloud things do worse then better (here my strong opinion: classic non-cloud fonts are better always then cloud "ghosts").

Anyway, customer needs to contact with Adobe Support Chat and show them example of the bugged publication.
