Adobe InDesign 2024 crashing while handling XML file.

Participant ,

 Hi Team,

While working on the XML workflow in InDesign, we converted a table to text, which resulted in InDesign creating empty tabs for the merged cells. When we attempted to remove the whitespace using the GREP pattern \s+$, the application crashed.

If anyone has insights into why this is happening, please let me know.

Thanks

Hi @Balaji Murugesan,

Were you able to submit the crash report via the Adobe Crash Reporter dialog box? If not, please do so and share the email address (on DM on the Community) used while submitting the logs, so I can get it checked with the product team. For reference: https://adobe.ly/4huuzZf.

Additionally, could you provide the details requested by the experts, like your InDesign version, OS, and sample files?

Looking forward to hear from you.
