Automate dialogue box on save

We have a code that must appear on all documents produced. Document layouts vary considerabely and the position of the code moves to suit each individual design or document specifications.

Is there a way we can script InDesign to alert the designer to check that the code has been placed prior to saving the document or exporting to PDF?
