Benefits of using the Find and replace color feature in InDesign

In addition to finding and replacing text, you can now find and replace colors in InDesign documents. 

 

BENEFITS

  1. Eliminates the painful process of hunting down colors in a large document. 
  • Eliminates the need to find or set up spot colors 
  • Replace colors in multiple open documents 

2. Controls printing costs by ensuring color accuracy in print files.  

  • Replacing colors with Tint helps you maintain that same color but at a different percentage.  
  • Reduces time and effort for print-ready files.

3. Helps easily locate swatches that did not appear in the unused swatches list (because they were part of some unused object style.) 

4. Change specified color occurrence in one go without having to delete the swatch.  

  • Spot the color and replace it in one click. 
  • You can also use the option to replace the color with the same swatch but on a different tint.
