Black bar at bottom of InDesign document

Hello,

I have been using a resume template and there is a large black bar on the bottom that is still visible when I export the file. Is there a way to remove this?

This is most likely an element on the Parent Page. 

Go to the Parent Page in the Pages Pallet - you should be able to remove it there.

I've taken to calling them Mama pages, since Big Daddy ruled against the M word.

I find it amusing that FrameMaker still has M-st-r pages, though.
