Ok so had a document finished, everything looked great, PDF looked great.
E-mailed it and the recipient is getting a blank page 1, but I am not. They are receiving this message "a drawing error occurred"
I have checked all items and layers and none are set to non print that is for both layer and object level.
As I said exporting to PDF it appears for me, exporting as jpeg or png and page 1 is blank.
I have looked at pages and both thumbnails appear right and even so have applied master to pages but that give me nothing.
Turning on overprint preview and a few objects disappear on the page (but those objects overprint is NOT ticked in attributes(.
Tried every suggestion i have found through threads.
I have tried other projects and they are all fine (although on those overprint looks perfect)
I am stumped, Any other thoughts?

You should show us the view with overprint preview on and off. Also tell us what program the recipient is using to view the PDF. Not all programs that view PDFs show things like overprint or transparency effects the way Acrobat does.

They are receiving this message "a drawing error occurred"
That points to some kind of error / trouble on their end, specifically on their software / system.

You should ask the recipient which Software he is using, Program Name, Version.
Only Acrobat is able to show all forms of PDFs correctly.

Thanks guys they have opened it in adobe reader, i have asked them to try chrome etc and see if the problem persists but haven't had a reply yet.
My thoughts is it can't be just there system because when i export as images the first page appears as blank, will upload images shortly.
Thanks for the responses.

Please see the images below, i do apologies but I have had to blank the content out because of the personal content and personal details.
I tried to re-create the issue but i couldn't.
There is full content in the black areas white space in the corner will be an image, which is not placed yet.
In overprint view it looks like this with the the top half content disappearing

Select the content, and enter text fillers. That will protect the privacy but shows us what is going on...

Are there any locked objects? (Object> unlock all on spread)
Here is one scenario that might explain what's happening, you have an overprinting object set to a white spot color, it looks fine in InDesign with overprint preview on, the exported PDF looks fine in Acrobat (with the Use Overprint Preview preference set to Always). A jpeg exported from InDesign will not show the overprinting, a PDF viewed in Reader will not properly show the overprinting spot color, regardless of the overprint preview setting.
If none of these apply, you might try exporting your InDesign file as an IDML, then open and save it.
