I am 4 days past deadline. Help!
The bleed from the center line of 2up book, is carrying over into the other page. I have cropped every page center line so there isn't even a bleed on it. I have also tried adding a bleed to the center page line on the images that are full bleed. Both ways it carries over into the corresponding page.
What I have tried
Document Set up: Turning facing pages off. Turning facing pages on.
I really need to keep facing pages on, as this is how the printer requested it.
My gut feeling is that my problem lies in either Doc Setup or PDF export Marks and Bleeds.
Here is what I have tried.
PDF Export:
Exporting as pages: General
*Using the printers custom print specs
*Exporting as PDFX4-2010 vs/and Exporting as none
Exporting as pages: Marks and Bleeds
*Including all pritner and bleed marks checked w/Bleeds & Crop checked VS/& uchecking this option.
* Bleed and slug checked vs unchecked
Exporting as pages: Output
* Convert to desitnation Convert Numbers:
Using printers color guide: AVL CMYK 2012
It is so as it should be.
That’s normal behaviour. For any folded and gathered binding method the inside bleed will be removed in the imposition—the exception would be something like wire-o where the inside spine is trimmed and visible.
