Hi all,
I'm stumped! I opened an InDesign document to make some changes and found this blue stripe on one of the pages. I've exhausted all known solutions. It is part of the text box as you can see when I turn off the text box it also disappears.
It is not part of the master page either.
Does anyone have any clue how to get rid of this?
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Lesley

Can you select the text frame show your Layers panel with the layers and page items expanded, or share the document via Dropbox or your CC account?

HI Rob,
Thanks for your reply. See the screen capture above. I hope you can see it clearly. If not, I'll have to put it in a Dropbox folder.

Cn you share that page? There was something like this in a question a day or two ago, and the culprit turned out to be an underline whose size had gotten accidently expanded - without directly examining the page, it is hard to find this sort of issue.

Thanks SJ,
How do I share it and it what format?

Upload the document to a cloud service like dropbox, the best format to share is to package the document and share that.

I solved it!
Thanks to everyone for the helpful info. pixxxelshubser that link was the key.
It was a Variable Font that was the issue. Source Serif Variable to be specific. I changed the paragraph style font to Source Serif Pro and it eliminated the blue bar.

Thank you for the feedback.
That means: The big box was caused by underlining (bug) of a variable font. And the color of the box corresponds to the selected font color?
