Tell us the exact specs on your computer?
When you say "vector processor" what do you mean? Do you mean a video card GPU? InDesign will generally run on any average computer, unless you are using one that is super old. You will need minimum 8gb RAM; preferably 16gb RAM.

Don't be so sure. It's a bare minimum.

8GB is bare minimum for system alone.
Even if InDesign will install - you can forget about working efficiently.

16 COULD work, but you really want 24 or more. I would try to get 32 or more.
Look up the specs on your computer to see how much more it can hold (if any).

You want to use it for "something?"
What exactly do you want to use it for?

I want to be an author so I want to use it for book covers, posters and flyers

All well and good and those items can certainly be created with InDesign but there is a steep learning curve. You're going to need to invest a good deal of time in learning how to do this stuff.

Why not click the Install button and see if it works?

I dont know if this answer was supposed to be funny
but it is kinda funny

If you click to install InDesign, and it successfully installs, then you are on your way. If your computer is too old, it will fail to install, and you will know either way.

Are you referring to Advanced Vector Extensions 2 (AVX2), whatever they are?
If so, then they must be supported:

I remember this topic was brought up a few times before.
