When I try to print a page from InDesign nothing happens.  Other applications print fine.  Only printing from InDesign is not working.  Please assist.  Thanks, Amy

InDesign CS 5 is not supported for Windows 10. Recent updates to that OS have made CS 5 ID virtually unusable for many. I would say that your printing problems are either because of that incompatibility or the result of the recent Windows 10 upgrade which installed a different print driver that has been incompatible with many people’s printers.

Please let us know what version of InDesign, what operating system and what printer you are using. Also please upload screen shots of your General, Setup and Output sections of your Print dialog window. In the meantime have you tried making a pdf of the InDesign file and printing that?

Printing from .pdf works fine but it prints 2 pages on 1 page.

It's usual to print from a PDF rather than from InDesign. I'm a Mac user but you need to check whether InDesign CS5 is supported by Windows 10.

Select as Pages (not Spreads) in the Export Adobe PDF dialogue box.
