Hi,

I have created a biliengual form (Englisn & Arabic) in indesign with new interactive tool.

Created a seperate form fields for both the languages and export the PDF.

My client could not fill the arabic form fields where as he could fill english.

I used Mac to create the form and client is using PC to fill the form.

I used indesign CC 2022 ME version to create form with fields. Also using Acrobat DC (Where i can fill the arabic)

I use Adobe Arabic fort for both language to create fields.

Client is using Acrobat Reader to fill the form.

Can anyone help me with this issue.

Thanks

Salam Mohammed,

I made quite a few Arabic forms the same way you're explaining, it works well for all my Mac and Windows users, so let's find out what is the issue with your form.

I may start by changing the font applied for all Arabic fields to something common on all platforms including mobile devices such as Times or Arial.

If you can explain more of what you mean by "My client could not fill the arabic form fields"

Hm…

Don't know if there is an explicit Arabic version of Adobe Reader for Windows.

Perhaps your client is using a different version?

Sorry, no real idea how to fix this.

Did you try to fill the form fields with Adobe Reader and not Acrobat Pro DC?

Hi Zaid,

Thanks so much for your reply. I did try changing the font to Arial / Times and ask to check my client on his PC.

It did worked well. The issue is resolved now. So the issue was the fonts.

Thanks So much
