What's the exact version of your operating system?

Usually if the latest version of CC is not available in the Creative Cloud Desktop App the version of your OS will not support it.

Hi Richard,

Look at the following link to see if your computer configuration meets the requirements for the version or not

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/system-requirements.html#MinimumsystemrequirementsforInDesign

As Uwe mentioned if its not supported on your machine it will not be shown on the CC app

Hi Richard,

if your machine allows you have to update your OS version to at least High Sierra.

I bet you need that to run the upcomming version of InDesign and other CC software.

Before that do a system backup with e.g. Carbon Copy Cloner so that you are able to revert to the old system without problems.

Or you could do an installation of High Sierra on a second partition so that you are able to boot one or the other system version.

For that you need sufficient space on your harddisk. Hope you already have a big SSD drive that allows this.
