Change Default Workspace

I am using  the latest InDesign 2024 (version 19.3) and every time I open InDesign it defaults to the Essentials workspace. I have already set up and saved my own and I'd like InDesign to default to mine instead. Is there a way to do this?

 

Fyi, I have already set to mine, quit ID and relaunched. It still always defaults to Essentials. Thanks!

You might try restoring your InDesign preferences and caches. If those are reset, the saved workspace should be honored. Here's how:
