Changing a specific leading

Hello!

I am very new to indesign and I am trying to design a simple menu. Below I've attached the image. I want to have the leading between the menu item and it's description to be 16 pts and the leading between two menu items to be 21

For example, in the below menu, I want the leading behind Cure and (Carrot, Orange, Ginger, Lemon) to be 16pts and the leading between (Carrot, Orange, Ginger, Lemon) and Refresh to be 21 pts. When I adjust the leading selecting the rows, it affects the rows below and above too. How can I do that?

Leading is used to space the lines within a paragraph. To add space between paragraphs you should use Space Before or Space After, as appropriate to your situation.

This is generally best done as part of a paragraph style defintion, but in all honesty after doing prepress and updating countless menus over the years, I've found that as descriptions and selections change the amount of space required can change drastically and it has worked better to adjust spacing between selections manually to get a visaully appealing layout.

If you would like the prices to line up. Use tabs

1. Highlight all the copy.

2. Under Type/Tabs

3. Choose the end arrow, place it in the bar just above the ruler. 
4. Go to your copy and between the text and the price. Only put one tab. If you have extra tabs or spaces it may not line up right.

Hi @Berfin21957086j2zc , try selecting the entire description line including its return, reduce its Leading, and as Peter suggests add Space Below:
