Hi,

Just a quick question..

I am creating a form in indesign & then will export it in pdf interactive so people can fill it out

In some text frame i have limited the characters to 200

I would like to know if in indesign cc or Acrobat Pro X there is a function which indicates the number of characters a person has typed or left to type.. so they can phrase accordingly to what's left?

if its possible cld you kindly tell me how

thank you

Unless I am wrong, that would be a javascript set in Acrobat, not InDesign.

Well you should reach acrobat forums to talk about both setting a script in the PDF and security concerns.

Don't forget that user can also disable Javascript in their readers so your code might just not be run anyway.
