continuous request for serial number CS6

I have a problem with Adobe Design Standard CS6. After the last computer failure, I had to replace a few hardware components. Since then, when printing from InDesign to an Adobe PDF printer, I have been prompted for a serial number. I entered the serial number when reinstalling Adobe Acrobat X Pro, and then I registered the product on the Adobe website (I entered the serial number there). Unfortunately, the problem has not gone away.
Thanks

When you enter the serial number, you are licensing it.

This method doesn't work. Adobe InDesign still requests the serial number when generating the PDF file.

I'm going to move this discussion to the InDesign forum.

"Adobe InDesign still requests the serial number when generating the PDF file.". That's surprising, unless you print to PDF. Use Export to PDF in InDesign, always.

I have to check if the export to PDF will be suitable for me. It does not change the fact that until the hardware failure, print to PDF was working properly. And now it's not working.
Thx for answer

It is the recommended method of PDF creation but I will ask...what operating system are you on?

Which PDF creation method is recommended? Printing to PDF or exporting? I'm working on Windows 10 Pro.

Exporting may be recommended, but the print to PDF option worked on this computer until the last hardware failure. I have a few more CS6 licenses and these installations work fine on other computers in the company (also Windows 10). I work very rarely in InDesign, now I'm just trying to fix what suddenly broke. On Monday or Tuesday, I will test the export to PDF. Thank you for your help.

It is important to clearly understand what you have done. You are still running an app (CS6) after it is out of support and will never receive any fixes. If you froze your system things might reasonably keep running forever. But you also chose to go to Windows 10, a system which has continuous updates that cannot be switched off. The updates are often major and can break older apps, or make them less reliable. It has become a game of luck. So we can expect CS6 to fail, not necessarily all at once, but in pieces.
Your business strategy should probably look ahead to the time when you can no longer dodge the bullets you have inflicted on yourself, and you should be planning for getting up to date. Or finding an alternative to InDesign.
