Convert indd file to pdf

I am trying to convert indd files into pdfs and I can't. It says "One problem was found with a background task. I have no idea what that means or how to fix it.  A big "LOCK" is on the icon for the file. And my one drive has an x on it. Help!!

This all sounds like a problem with your system, not InDesign or Acrobat.

Reboot your system, make sure no other apps or processes are running, and that you have direct access to the folder and files where you are trying to export. Then try again.
