convert the document to outline in indesign

Hi guys!

I need convert the indesign document to outline. There are tables，footnotes，text in the document.  I am new in javascript. Help me!!

I will tried it this night again. This moring i got this error. system halted. It's ten page only. Usually i have 500 pages in  a document.

Hi Theon,

can you explain a bit more what you expect of that?
Did you try that by means of the UI and were not satisfied?

Especially tables will get you a headache, I think…

If it's for PDF export better see into Acrobat's capabilities to convert text to outlines.

It's not really possible to convert footnotes to outlines. As soon as you convert the footnote reference in the main text, the footnote disappears....

The proper way of doing this is some trick involving adding transparency to the master page, then exporting the doc to PDF and forcing the transparency flattener to kick in on each page. Here's the writeup: https://indesignsecrets.com/converting-text-to-outlines-the-right-way.php
