When exporting from Indesign 2.0 to a PDF, some of the elements shift position.  How can I get a PDF file that isn't corrupted?

Some more information would help. Show a screen grab of the InDesign file and the PDF. Tell us the OS and version you are using. And I am also curious why you are using a version of InDesign that is 16 years old.

Since InDesign 2.0 (released in 2002) is quite out of date with today's operating systems, there could be many reasons why.

We need more details from you to help.

  1. How are you making the PDF? Are you using File / Export / PDF or File / Print to PDF virtual printer?
  2. What operating system and version are you running?
  3. Which type of elements are shifting? Graphics? Text frames?
