I have made a custom OTF font using FontLab. It displays properly (2 colors), when I view the installed font in Word, or the Font section of the Control Panel. It also appears correctly when I open it in FontLab. In InDesign, however, it appears all black (single color) with some sections inverted.
I try to attach the OTF file, but it says it doesn't match. Not sure what that's about. A link is provided instead, if that helps. I know very little to nothing about font design. I struggled to make this one font, which is all I need for the product I am making. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you!
Thank you for the replies. Now that I see it works for others, I asked chatGPT for help... hahah. It suggested I clear the entire inDesign cache. Problem solved.
Thank you everyone!

I expect this is something on the font side. How did you export it from FontLab? Is it a COLR/CPAL-spec color font? InDesign isn't supporting those while Word does. Try to export it as an SVG color font, perhaps that should work.

Hi @Benjamin39010368auuu , I’m not seeing a problem, but I’m not using the latest InDesign version.
The SVG font is viewing in color. If you are planning on using it for print output it has the SVG problem of RGB blacks, which output as 4 color separations on an offset press:
