Hi

I have a Dell computer, Windows Enterprise and the latest version of Adobe CC.

Recently, I discovered that my color (Swatches) menu in InDesign had changed.

The color icons are still on the left side, but the icons to the right that shows what type of color (CMYK, RGB etc) is gone.
The tools at the bottom of the menu are also gone.

I did uninstall InDesign and when doing this I also klicked the button "Remove app preferences".

But the Swatches menu are still damaged after this action.

I really could use some help in this matter..

Very Best,

Jonas

Hi,

Try cleaning BOTH cache and preferences folder manually.

Troubleshooting 101: Replace, or "trash" your InDesign preferences

Hi

This seems to be an interesting challenge.

Can you confirm your OS, version of InDesign and all details that could help define the situation.

A couple of screenshots (or even better Mac: Giphy Capture // Windows: ScreenToGif for 'animated' screenshots) would really help.

It could be that your panels are not showing all the options available. Try the hamburger menu at the top right of the panel.

OS: is Windows 10 Enterprise 2016.

Version of InDesign: Adobe CC 2018

All options in the hamburger menu are correct as far as I can see.

I tried to change views back and forth.

In Illustrator the Swathes menu are correct with all items showing.

That can usually fixed by restoring your InDesign preferences. Here's how:

Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences
