Obviously, I'm doing something wrong, or missing something. Windows 11, latest CC updates, trying to merge a .csv file with 306 names and addresses into a ID indd file as a merge. It's 2 columns, 17 pages worth on 6x9 pages. Any ideas where I'm wrong?
Do you have the same problem if you create a new file? If you do, reset your prefs: Reset InDesign Preferences and Other Troubleshooting
If not, just rebuild the template -- in my experience a bad template file rarely is saveable and they are quick to rebuild.
Thank you for responding. I realized the problem was i had multiple pages
in the doc. Once I deleted all but one, problem solved.

Same problem with "multiple records" not available. Tried trashing prefs. Tried creating a new document. Nothing seems to work. I can get a preview in DataMerge but can not merge multiple records

And are you using the multiple records layout tab? Is your text box holding the placeholders small enough to fit on the page multiple times?
