Data merge panel doesn't scroll to bottom of field list

Hello,

In my current project with InDesign 2018 I'm unable to access the last few fields in my data merge panel. It simply won't scroll to the last field. The CSV file is proper and I have tried setting up a dummy document using the same data source as a test. Same result. See  below. There are 3 fields AFTER the one called Cert %. My preview box is overlayed on top of the next field so I can't access it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Betsy

Hello Betsy,

First thing I would try would be to edit a copy of the data file and remove the percentage symbol and the space that would create at the end of the field header. The see if that works.

Though you will lose any customization, the second thing I would try if it happened to me would be to delete my preferences.

Thanks Mike! Looks like deleting the preferences did the trick. I tried the field name with and without the % sign and it made no difference so the preferences was the problem for some reason.

Thanks so much for all your help!

Start InDesign...then QUICKLY press Shift+Ctrl+Alt. It'll bring up a window asking if you want to delete preferences. Click Yes. You might have to try a few times in case you're too slow with the Shift/Ctrl/Alt.
