I created a double sided card from the tutorial files ID and exported it. But I have tried to print from Acrobat, Id. I have the double sided option on and still get nothing!

Are you talking about turning double-sided on for the printer? That is set by the printer drivers not Adobe. If you have a printer with the capability then you should see "Print on both sides of the paper". Can you better explain your issue? Maybe some screenshots would help.

What model is the printer? Can it actually print duplex?

Why are you printing an Indesign document through Acrobat? Why not just print it directly from InDesign? Other than that it is like the first two posts said it is a matter of whether the printer can actually print double-sided (duplex). Consult whatever documentation you can find about your printer. The printer manufacturers website should have a pdf that you can download with all of that information.

Thank you for the response from all!
I have tried to print from Ai Id and Acrobat. I am attaching
screen shots from the templates I have used.

The printer I am using is a bizhubC754e. It is a commercial copier/printer. I did a 1 card that came out two-sided and in color, but it printed the back image up side down

Many printers that will print two-sided will have an option to open from the left or to open from the top. If your printer has that then choose the opposite one from what you currently have chosen to turn your image right-side up. The option may be offered under Duplex printing.

Thank you, Bill! How do I print the multi card template from Id? Do I place the front of the card all on one page the back on another page in Id or front and back side by side?

Place the two sides of the card as page one and page two. When you print through InDesign make sure that in the Print window in the Setup section under options that Page Position is set for centered. To get to your printer's options for double-sided (aka Duplex) click on the Printer button on the lower left of the Print dialog window (it's right to the right of the Page Setup button). The location of duplex options is different for each printer so check your printer's instructions. Since, obviously, you will need to cut out the finished card from the paper they are printed on (you can't just print art that bleeds right to the final trim size—most printers can't do that) you will need to make sure that crop marks have been chosen and a bleed setting has been entered in the Marks and Bleeds section of the Print window.

Getting closer! The Ai template only has one card, but two pages ( front and back). How do I add more than one card per print page?

There is no automatic way to assure the kind of size fidelity and back to front registration you need to set it up with multiple cards on a page. Somebody more advanced in the program would be able to set it up precisely but at the level that you sound like you are at it might really be better to print one card per page. I am giving you a link to an old thread about this and you might want to read Peter Spier's response and instructions. Setting up multiple cards with bleed on a single document Remember though that this thread is not taking into account that your backs will need to register to your fronts.
