Is it possible to convert dynamic footnotes to static footnotes?

Thanks,

Hi Koby,

what would your static footnote look like?

Can you fake one by using perhaps an anchored text frame and show a screenshot where frame edges, hidden characters and text threads are showing. The anchored frame should be selected.

Best see into the scripts by Peter Kahrel about footnotes and endnotes:

Perhaps this is something for you:

Hi Koby:

Also curious about what you are looking for with static footnotes. Years ago in PageMaker, I would run the notes as a separate threaded story under the main thread—because Pm didn't support footnotes. I would color code the superscript references to keep an eye on them during edits, then pull the color out before printing.

Let us know what you need and we can hopefully come up with a better workflow than that painful one.
