Error 18 appearing when I publish online but connection is fine ...

I am having severe issues with my indesign. Please can I receive help as it is effecting my job. 
No problems publishing online and now this pop up …
It is incorrect as my internet connection is fine. I have tried on two different wifis too. 
Have tried uninstalling indesign, and the past versions. Logging in and out of Creative cloud. Have also tried deleting past online publications - I deleted about 400 and this still appears. 
I really need help quickly - it has been like this for one week and there is no help online!

Have you tried resetting InDesign preferences (in up to 4 different ways)?

Deleting 400 past online publications is not likely the way to a solution.

I appreciate you detailing everything you've attempted so far. I fully recognize how disruptive this situation has been for you. In addition to the expert's advice, could you please verify the specific versions of InDesign and macOS you are using? Furthermore, does the error occur with every file or just a specific document?

When you find a moment, please log out of the Creative Cloud desktop app, restart your computer, log back in, and try to publish again. It may also be beneficial to check if a firewall or VPN is affecting the Publish Online connection (consider disabling the firewall and disconnecting from any VPN, if any).
